:x:x:xI have created a 3D object and I am having problems generating 2D elevations from it, such as a top view and bottom view. I know that I have generated them before and I thought I had used some sort of photo command. They do not need to be referenced to the current object, that is to say they don't need to change as my object changes. It is in the final stages and I am trying to finish the working drawings. Any help would be great. I am completely stuck right now. I have been looking at the same screen for close to 30 minutes and have not remembered how I created them last time. I also need them to be saved to a specific location as a .DWG file so that I can dimension them and insert them as a block in my layout space. Thanks again for the help in advance.

There is one thing I like about taking a break from the computer when you are working, it is that you always remember what you were trying to. I found the answer to my own question, FLATSHOT. If any one has any other ways of generating 2D elevations from a 3D model let me know. I am always interested in learning other ways to create things. :):):):P

The commands SOLVIEW and SOLDRAW but they have to be used in a layout.

Try the 'mvsetup' command.

It will create 3 standard views and an isometric view automatically in paperspace with viewports and everything. Try it.
