Hi, How do I take an existing drawing that is not on a title block sheet and place it in a title block sheet, And still be able to work on the drawing?
Thanks
Linda

One way would be to use the Insert command. A second way would be to use the Copy command in the first drawing and the Paste command in the second drawing.

How quickly we forget! When were the model and paperspace tabs added?!?! My CRS desease is too much for me this morning. I don't remember if they were part of 2004.

For simplicity, I used to keep my model files separate from my final sheet files. I had a box areound my model files that corresponded to the side of the viewport in the sheet file. It was scaled up to match the plot scale of the model. Does that make sense? What I mean is a box that might be 20x30 inches plotted full size was added to the model file but scaled at a 96 factor for 1/8 inch drawings.

In the sheet file all I had to do is go into model space and zoom window to get it to the correct scale for my final plot.

You can add the sheet file in model space and scale it up. but then you have to scale your plots correctly.

The other way is to put the titleblock into paperspace and create a viewport like I describe above.
