Hi all,

I have just installed Autocad 2009 and when I go to double click a cad file to open it, the "Signature Validation Options" window keeps popping up and the file doesn't open. I have checked and unchecked the box and still the same result. I can open the file through autocad but not if I double click it.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I followed the instructions in that link but the problem is still there. Only difference is the check box is no unchecked.

It almost sounds like those files are set to go to the signature validation program and not autocad.

Right-click a CAD file, go to Open With... (if there's a submenu, go to the option that takes you to a new dialog box)

In the dialog box, find what you know is the AutoCAD executable and assign it as the default program with which to open cad docs).

I'm kinda going out on a limb, but I have no other clue.
