Hello - I have been managing blocks for a large project and have come across an issue that slows everything down.
We are running AutoCAD 2008 and I am using Design Center to insert and redefine blocks in a series of separate files. Everything is working well, except with the blocks that are annotative. The problem is that when I try to "insert and redefine" or "just redefine" any block with annotation, the blocks throughout the drawing do not change. I must then open block editor (where the block is shown revised correctly) and change something small in order to redefine the blocks throughout the drawing.
I know that redefining blocks turns layers on and that is not causing the issue - it seems that annotative blocks just have issues. Is this a glitch or is there a way to redefine these blocks in one step and not two?
thanks
