Dear CADTutor

I am getting addicted to CADTutor..

i am an architect..and love to train students of architecture and interior design in using CAD and 3ds Max software.

since last two years.. i am trying to develop a course material and syllabus for AutoCAD and MAX, which will help me train students effeciently.

is there any such detailed course material / syllabus available online?

i also recommend my students to visit various web sites for further references...congratulations..CADTutor seems to be best!! :D

Hi CADbug

I don't know of any detailed syllabus material available but there are lots of course outlines you could look at. Many organisations that offer commercial training have a course outline on their website, so you could look at a few of these and get an idea what to cover and in what order. It's also worth bearing in mind that every teacher (including me) will have a slightly different approach. It also depends on the students. Only you know these things, so I suggest that you compile your own syllabus after doing a bit of research. That will always lead to the best solution.

Thanks for your comments. It's good to know the tutorials are still useful despite being woefully out of date. I really am going to get round to updating them soon.

that is done. o:)

every student that comes to me has a different IQ. they respond differently to the way i teach..is it not okey that i customize the course syllabus keeping students IQ in mind? 8)

but that will take time..lets see.

i will try my best to get it done.

thanks..

i suggest "TIP" on main page should change every day. :)

That's a good idea. I'm working on a dynamic version of CADTutor that will include such things.

Yes, this is easily done in PHP. A number of sites I've created in the last 12 months have this functionality. The Next version of the CADTutor site will be based on PHP and then almost anything is possible

That would kind of get confusing. :) There are so many new members its hard to remeber all their member names without their avatars changing everytime!
