Hello people,
Does anybody know if it is posible to print several (or all) lay-out tabs at once?
Now I have to print them all one by one, and having 20 tabs it would save me some time.
And another one concerning lay-out tabs,
since I have so much tabs I would like to store them in two rows of tabs, instead of one, so that scrolling with the arrows would be unnecassary.
I am using autocad 2008 LT
thanks in advance.

You can use publish option to print several layout tabs at once.

Thanks for your help, Dipali, but this will only plot the tabs in dwf-format. And it will not use, as I specified in my page lay-out, the pdf-printer...

One option:
Publish to DWF then open the DWF in Design Review (http://www.autodesk.com/designreview) and print to PDF.

Not possible as far as I know.

That's not strictly true.
Publish can and will print more than layout tab to different 'printers' other than a dwf file

The publish command will print to the printer specified in the page setup as long as the setup has no errors.
If you can print the layout by itself, it should print when using publish.

As long as you have properly set up all of the options in the page setup manager to how you want your pages to print, just click the option to publish to plotter named in page setup. This should work!

Yes it is true. Note that the OP has LT.
The LT publish command only supports plotting to DWF.

Even in LT 08
LT2008 can only publish to DWF
LT2009 allows you to publish using the current page setup (same as AutoCAD)

Ok, thanks for clearing that up :)

I am trying to plot some layout tabs (11 of them) using the publish command in Civils 2008 but I have to go into each individual sheet and set the plotter to the one that I want because each layout tab has a different setting at the moment.
This is mainly because a number of people can work on the drawings and they all have local printers/plotters on the network.
Is there a way to set the plot style for ALL layout tabs at the same time? If there isn't then it means going in to each tab in turn and altering them. It then becomes easier to just press the 'print' button whilst I'm there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and will be rewarded with a virtual cup of tea...
Many thanks

No need to go to each tab. In publish dialoguebox, when you click on page set up a tab or sheet, down arow will apper & from there u can select the pageset up u want to use. so u can overirde page set up of each shhet/tab in the publish dialoguebox itself without going to them.

Thanks for your reply but having re-read my post I don't think I asked the right question...
I think it's the 'page setup' that I'm after. I want to get ALL the tabs in the drawing to use the same page setup. For instance: I have 2 layouts plotting to A3 on local printer, 8 layout plotting to pdf and 1 to A1 plotter on different floor to where I sit.
When I go to 'Page Setup / 3D DWF' scroll down menu I get it asking me for a dwg file to use as a template. As I don't kow who has plotted the drawings last I could spend longer trying to find a drawing with the correct page setup than I would plotting each layout individually.
Sorry for being a numpty...

so I guess, You don't use named page set up.
We usually have all the pageset ups saved with name. so whenever we want it we just import it from the lists.
Advise for you is creat the page setup u want ot use to plot all sheets, save it with name & than u can import it in publish dialoguebox for any no of sheets.
