Cutting file size in 3ds max

There are ways to optimize your models, but I would need to see what you are working with. Can you post one of your files here, or post a screen shot?

Also, visit the link I posted in your other thread and download some tutorials so you can become familiar with the tools.

Max has a limit to the number of poly's that it can handle. I'm not sure exactly what that number is though? Obviously your model is over that limit. You will have to simplify it before bringing it in. Can you convert the meshes to solids somehow? This is why I would like to see an image of your model before offering suggestions.
