Line - Point or Option Keyword Required

Hi guys n' gals,

I can't draw a line in a new drawing by typing units in feet, but can do it in inches. It says, "Point or Option Keyword required." I've exhausted all possible help topics many many times in the past, and still can't find the solution to what that means or what it's asking me to do.

AutoCAD doesn't recognize the foot mark (') unless your units are set to Architectural or Engineering. Format>>Units>>Length.
