My boss has put me in charge of getting the batch plot to work the way he wants it to work. I am not having any luck. What he wants is to check out all of the drawings for a specific project, and print them out. Some of our projects consist of 20 to 50 drawings so this would take some time to accomplish. I tried to use the batch plot and came up with just a hand full of good drawings and the rest were all jacked up, like isometric views would stay and the rest of the drawing would shrink or the entire drawing would end up shrinking and placing at the top left hand corner of the sheet. I do not know to much about macros but I think there might be a way to write one to accomplish this. Or if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

When batch plotting you need to have a common Page setup in all
dwg's such as 11x17 or 36x24 etc. Then when plotting you can select that Page setup. I have found that without the setup you can get
some funky plots.
Google batch plotting and it will come up with some good tutorials
on the subject.

Hello
We have had the same kind of problem in the past, and a friend told me about a third party software called CustomTools. We first tried the demo and we impressed by the different functionality. Even my co workers from Boston were amazed when they saw the batch printing providing by CustomTools. You can select many documents to be printed at a time, then you just have to select the printer and the documents are always printed at the correct size.
I would recommend this software to anyone looking for batch plots and conversions solutions.
