Problem Installing Autocad 2008

TRYING TO INSTALL AUTOCAD 2008 and I have been over and over again, HOWEVER I cannot because I keep getting the 1308 AutoCAD error message. I am operating on windows xp, system pack 2

ANY SUGGESTIONS???????????????????
