Monitor performance using Perfmon

Hello all,

Some of the folks here where I work are having serious performance issues with autocad. Admittadly, they are working with some rather large files. Nonetheless, I am looking for a way of testing performance on individual computers to see how various activities are affecting performance (such as opening certain drawings, using certain VBA or Lisp routines, etc...)

I've heard that perfmon is a very effective tool designed to help with just this issue, but I really have no idea what processes and things to monitor.

Does anybody have any experience using this?
