download window / door from 3D Warehouse

A few related questions on downloading from the 3D warehouse.

When I download a dbl. hung window from either 3DW or the component dialog box, it comes in with the insert point on the bottom. I want it on the top, where I've placed my 6'-8" guide at the head of the window. If I click and lay it down to grab it at another point, I can grab it but, I can't get it to follow the face.

I downloaded a Pella dbl. hung into the plug ins folder. Where does it show up for use in my drawing? I'm looking in the components dialog box under Architecture / windows.

Sometimes you just have to work with what you have. If all the program will give you is a bottom grip, then draw a temporary line or intersection to make the placement of the lower edge of the window work and move on. Then erase the temporaries.

I get pissed at having to do so, too. I want the dang thing to work like I want it to!
