Anyone tell me if 2004 Architectural Desktop will run on Windows XP 64bit?

Think it should run fine.I think there was no problem to install AutoCAD or Architecture on a 32bit or 64bit XP untill the 2008 version.

Why would you want to get 64bit Windows anyways? Not really any apps that take advantage of it natively. addressing more memory is about it, honestly.

Getting a new computer...:D

2 - 3.0 GHZ Intel® Xeon™ Quad Core - X5450, 1333 MHz, 12MB CACHE

4 - 2GB FULLY BUFFERED ECC DDR2 667 RAM (SINGLE DIMM) 8MB total!!

NVIDIA Quadro® FX3700, 512MB GDDR3, x16 PCIe

2 - 250GB DRIVE, SERIAL ATA, NCQ, 3Gb/S, 7200RPM

2 - SAMSUNG 245BW 24in Wide Color TFT LCD MONITOR

MS WINDOWS XP PRO x64

I have 2009 MEP 64bit....but a firm we work with uses 2004..so I usually go ahead and put it on my PC so if they have any problems I can open it up and go through it with them.

The only thing I have a complaint about is the speed of the memory. DDR2 667MHz RAM on there basically put a huge speed bottleneck on that good of a machine. Especially since DDR3 1333MHz RAM has been available for awhile now, which is twice as fast allowing the entire machine to transfer data along the bus of the motherboard much more efficiently.

Got it hooked up today.... WOW is this thing fast.

2004 installed and works fine. Was going to go with the 1333MHz RAM...but it came down to money...and I just didn't have enough.
