While it can be done, it will take a lot more work in AutoCAD than in other packages.
Take a look at the Sketchup forum where CADKen is modeling a truck as one example.

What level of Autocad are you at?, this task would not be something a beginner would take on.

Hi all, I'm freshman in high school, and we all have to take an engineering class. Autodesk Inventor is the program used in our class. Now, our final project has been assigned. We all have to design a city car or small concept car.
I have scoured the internet, and have not found anything that will show me how to make city car and all of its parts.
so I was wondering if anyone could show me how to make a city car or small concept car and all of its parts. Please help me out here, I desperately need it!

Wouldn't the Smartcar be a good example of a city car?
You posted in the Sketchup forum. You're using AutoDesk Inventor in class and your profile says you're using AutoCAD 2007. For the sake of clarity, which program will you be using to model the car. Or is it going to be all three? Your answer will determine who best here can help you.

Being that you've posted the same question three times in different areas of this forum, I can understand your desire to find an answer.... but with that said...
you only have to post your question once.
There is a basic method to modeling a car, in any program, you need to find a reference model or blueprint to stage, set up all the different views of the car to be modeled, and slowly being to model using the views from your reference.
Blueprints to all kinds of cars can be found over the web, some great sites for blueprints:
http://www.smcars.net/forums/blueprints/
http://www.the-blueprints.com/
Once the blueprints are found, you'll need to stage them, a great site showing this is (this is geared toward 3Ds MAX, but using the same concepts you can achieve the same thing in similar 3D programs):
http://www.3dtotal.com/team/Tutorials/fiat500/fiat500_m01.asp
I suggest taking some time to check out the links I've provided, these will help give you the beginning tools necessary to model.

That's a pretty big assignment. See Tutorial 6

You have already been told by a moderator (and other users) not to post the same thread over and over. I'm about to merge several of your threads, and I suggest your time would be better spent doing your homework instead of asking for somebody to do it for you - now you've had the assignment for over a month!
Kindly don't post this request again. We don't want to have to take action to prevent you from doing so
