Importing INROADS to Civil3D???

I've received a bunch of files from a client which are from INROADS. How do I import them into AutoCAD Civil 3D?? There is no XML file. I've managed to import the Surfaces and drawings but I need the alignment data. I'm not really confident in the surfaces I've imported as well. It's a plane surface with points around the perimeter which doesn't seem right to me.

What format are the files in? And could you perhaps request they export the data to landxml format for a smoother transition?
