Hi, well im starting my own bussiness (i just graduated and my brother and father are architects too) we are wondering if its posible to work on the same project simultanously. I mean to work on the same draw/project so everyone can work on a specific part or layer of the draw but we all can see the changes that everybody does in the draw/project.. i already search for it on the internet but all i could found is about autodesk map and i think is for map working does it??
thank you very much!!

I don't think there's such application there, but if it is, the wise people will let you know, just wait a little it's saturday and most of people here only work from Monday - Friday.
Meanwhile why don't you go to the introduce yourself forum so we can know where you're from. I'm from Mexico too.

Correct me if I'm wrong you can use xref so you can modify this drawings simultaneously with other cadguy (maybe 3 or 5 or more xref in original drawings that cad people can edit). One can modify xref 1 then the other can modify xref2 and so on.You can see or just click the baloon saying that to reload the xref then automatically it will update all xref.

The Xref option works, but you have to work on 3 different "Save As" files. That is the problem. When opening a file, it gives you the notice of opening it as a "Read Only" if it is already open.

If the other guy is using the original drawing, then the two guys can open the xref by looking first the xref from the guy who is using the original. So you don't want to open as a "Read Only" the xref(let say three different xref in one original drawing).

Alternatively, divide the project drawing into 3 logical parts, each person working on a seperate drawing. In order for each person to see what the others are doing, there should be a "master" drawing that has all 3 drawings as xrefs. The main problem with this approach is coordination but as you're working together, that shouldn't be too difficult I guess.
