We grow day by day! I should save the text WELCOME IN THE FORUM on my computer and just copy-paste it when answering to the new members.
Daily we have a lot of new members and interesting posts. Somebody does a good job in here, isn’t it?

And that's just the registered users. There are also hundreds of users visiting each day that don't show up on the board statistics. Currently, the CADTutor site as a whole gets about 5,000 visitors per day!

hmm...i also make it a point to talk about CAdTutor.net, while talking to my students of CAD. And i have also asked students to become part of it, learn from it and then contribute to it.

i am waiting to see new face od CADTutor.net.

when is it coming up CADTutor?

It's in development at the moment. I hope to start rolling it out in 2 months time. This will probably be phased because it is such a big change. What I can tell you is that it will have a new look and feel, it will use PHP rather than HTML, some areas will be MySQL driven and there will be some new areas of the site.

Actually, the total is slightly higher than that. Some registered users like to remain anonymous and so are hidden from everyone except admin users (me). The total is actually over 60.

Guest users are not logged but it would be interesting to know - I agree.

Could I suggest you include an "Add To Favourites" button on each thread? Some forums I visit have a Favourites feature which is invaluable for re-visiting pertinent topics without having to trawl through the Search which often doesn't bring up the desired results.
Other than that, this is by far the best CAD forum on the Web bar none. :D

OK, that's a neat idea. Do you want it so that it just adds a favourite to your browser or would you like a system where you can keep a list of favourite topics here on the forum? Either option is possible.

great feature it would be!!

it will be best if u add a column saying "create your favourite topics list here".

secondly, there can be facility saying "add this topic to your favourites".

thirdly, "Manage your favourite topics", here i can delete some and also can email thread to my freinds...etc..

The other forums I'm familliar with store the favourites on the forum itself. The favourites list is then editable within ones profile.

OK, I've found a suitable mod. I'll need to install it on my test board before installing it here so that I can properly test it. I'll let you know how it goes.

CADTutor, how's the revamp coming along?
There have been a few more threads recently that I would have liked to add to "My Favourites" and I was wondering how soon you'll be adding this feature.

I am still working on it. The mod I found is a bit crude and I need to spend more time than I thought in order to knock it into shape. I haven't forgotten about it :)
