Hi,
I'm currently using AutoCAD 2006 I have a drawing which is long diagonally across the screen and want to able to print landscape from the layout (paperspace), to the biggest scale possible.
Could anyone tell me how to rotate the plan in paperspace without rotating it in model space. (It is georeference and I don't really want to rotate the original). I'm sure I've seen this done before.
Be v. grateful for quick response.

Make sure the Viewport is unlocked...
UCS > Z > enter rotation angle > Plan (reset viewport scale). or
UCS > E > pick entity to align UCS > Plan. or
Dview > Twist > Plan. or
Mvsetup > Align > Rotate

You can use UCS to rotate the view around Z-axis, use help (F1) if you haven't used this before.

I use (Express / Layout Tools / Align Space) to scale, rotate, and translate all in one. It works great with only one step.

My preference has always been DVIEW > TWIST, however I am not familiar with the Express > Layout Tools > Align Space. I may have to throw that wrench in the spokes and see what result I get.
Thanks kc!
