Good morning I hope that some of you may be able to help on this one as it has me a little baffled.

If i send a print through to the plotter and then try to move on to another drawing and try to plot form that it gives me this error message;

a plot or publish command is already being processed in he background.only one job can be processed at a time .wait for the job to complete and then try again.

It is really bizarre and i dont know why this is happening i have googled it and looked on here but no one seems to have heard of this error before.....could it be a server issue?

you thoughts would be greatly appreciated,

Thank you

So I assume the message is correct, and you have your settings to Enable background plot when, Plotting and Publishing.
Correct?
Has the drawing been spooled and thrown out of the printer, or are you still waiting for it when you try to print again?
If you are printing multiple drawings, if possible then why not use the publish command to sort them all out in 1 go?
Also, try turning off background plotting, it is nothing but trouble...

yes background plotting is turned off pain in the backside.

When i print one drawing i then go to annother open drawing and print that while it is spooling and i get the error message?

I cant seem to get the publish command to work either as i think this error is affecting the publish function and despite have multiple drawings selected it only produces one.

It is all bit strange i have never seen this error message before.
