Convert bitmap to DXF or EPS

I am trying to post a question on the CADTutor Forum, but every way I try I get an error message telling me that only Administrators can post on this forum - HELP!

Just in case anyone can answer the question I'm trying to post here it is:

I need to supply our company logo to a design company in either DXF or EPS format, however we only have it in JPEG or GIF format. We have Total CAD V1.0 & 3D there seems to be an option to Convert Picture. Does this mean that you can convert a picture file to DXF? & if so how?

Usually, company logos are small in scale so we just trace it especially if the logo has some basic shapes in it.

You cannot convert raster images directly to vector images. However you might find this useful.
