Hi,
Whilst surfing for free materials, I found this free 40 page file.
http://www.delmarplus.com/samplechapters/0766862097.pdf
It covers detailed drawing of geometric constructions. Aimed
at beginners, good step-by-step instructions.
Enjoy

Well it's just a sample really. Although I have found a lot of the
chunky acad books have the book on cd. My school bought me
'Autocad Bible' which was 50 kwid, it has the whole book on cd.
Ideal for searching for a specific topic. Although I have found
the 'Learning Assistance CD' which my school technicians lost. It is excellent.

The Learning Assistance CD is a definite must for all beginners - a great resource for seeing how things are done and saves on ploughing through a leafy manual.

:D I was looking for such a book. Great idea Mr. T to post it.
If I may, I would also recommand some good beginner books that was a real help for me and good to have handy.
"Exercise Workbook for Advanced/ Beginning Autocad" by Cheryl R. Shrock- nice explained but both are for beginners ( my opinion).

Autocad Instructor 2002- good but kind of expansive
My worse buy: Autocad 2002 3D modelling, A visual Approach  what a waste of money.

OOh...
I can feel a new CADTutor resource page comming on.
Do you think that if all the free sample chapters around the web were collated that they would add up to a whole manual worth of material?
