Hello,

I am having problems getting the colors to display when plotting from ACAD 2006 to eps. I plot my drawing to EPS using "postscript level 1.pc3", and then open it using Photoshop Elements 2.0. However, when I open it, it is in grayscale, not color. I checked the plot style settings, and tried both the "acad.ctb" and "none" options, to no avail. When importing to Photoshop, the mode is set to "RGB", so that shouldn't be the problem.

Any ideas for how to get the colors to export properly? Thanks in advance.

When you plot the .eps file, what do you see in the plot preview? Do you see color or black and white?

If you have Adobe Illustrator, you can easily create an eps file. all you need to do is open Illustrator, then open the *.dwg, or *.dxf as you normally would. After that its a simple save as to make your *.eps file. Depending on your version of AI, you may need to save down your drawing to be able to open it. Example save as version 2000 DWG file.
