View Full Version : How can you create a vent on multiple faces?

EDIT: Just read the help file...impossible.

Attached is the model I am working with. I could use some guidance on removing the flanges and surrounding faces to even out the surface to put the vent down.

you should roll back before the flange feature and put the vent there, then roll forward.

also the vent looks kinda big. does it have to be that big?

What software are you using?
Does the vent have to be that big?
Does the vent have to be circular?
If it is autocad you are using, the best way would be to make it a solid, and a thickness greater than the objects width, and subtract it from the 2 faces.
I would make the vent smaller myself.
If it does not need to be circular, then consider rectangular maybe.
