uhm...stupid question probably but why don't you name the groups?

Tiger as you know I've upgraded recently, and I've found this a bit puzzling, I use group so that I can select a bunch of objects, then group them then do some work on another part of the drawing then grab the group I was working on, just for speed I use group. It makes selection alot faster. However now I have to name it makes it seem quite long winded. If I've done a drawing in 2004 LT and left something grouped, how do I ungroup it, it hasn't got a name.

I really should spend a little bit more time looking for the answer but recently I haven't had time to scratch my butt.

I normally name my groups but I get drawings from various places who don't name groups for whatever reason!!
