Sup guys!
Is there any way to import a solidworks file to DFX format? or em I gonna have to draw the piece in AutoCad?
The piece is a Flange that needs to be cut in a waterjet machine that reads DFX files only.
thanks
Gil

Doesn't Solidworks have a "save as" option for .DWG amd .DXF?

If they are going to use a water jet cutter you will need to provide a flat pattern of the piece. You have to make a drawing and then save the drawing as dxf at 1:1.

For the flat pattern I suggest you model using the sheet metal feature in Solidworks.

Yeah modeling sheetmetal is definitely not for newbies. Glad to hear you solved it though.
