Structual Member - Column

I am probably trying to run before I can walk (or maybe standup)

I have drawn a column, it comes in at a standard size of 300x300mm.

How do I change the footprint of this column?

Click Format, Structural members, wizard.
Then choose the type of column, I guess in your case concrete and pick Rectangular Column.
Click next
Type in the size toy require by replacing the default 300x300
click next
Give it a name and click finish.

From design click Structural members and Add column and from the properties palette choose your new column.
Easy!
