nested drawings edition (XREF'S)

I have the next problem: I have several projects drawn in AutoCAD 2006 and I have structured them with xrefs, sometimes I need to make changes to a specific nested xref, then I double click on it and I edit it, changing, moving, deleting, trimming, whatever, and then I cannot close the session with refclose because apparently some entities were connected somehow with some others deleted, so get a message like this:

** Application reference missing: ACAD, to AcDbMaterial.

** Object reference missing: AcDbXrecord, to AcDbDictionary.

** Application reference missing: AcDbAttr, to AcDbMaterial.

It's not happening when I use AutoCad 2007 but I need to fix the problem within AutoCAD 2006

Any clue?

I had visited the link:

and followed the directions on it but when I tried to run the script a small window opens up with the following message

").scr

Can't find File

I'm not familiar with scripts at all and do I need to put this file in my AutoCAD support folder? Please help because I'm going crazy with this "Application reference missing" message!!!!!!! Thank you.
