Sir,

I'm an architecture student working on the autocad 2000ver.

I have a query regarding printing my drawing. When I finish applying materials to my drawing & completely render it, if I give the print command & preview it,I still only see the wireframe drawing. Is there something missing that I've got to do?

Also, once I finish the cad drawing & import it to 3dsmax,again over there i'm stuck with the same problem- i'v fitted cameras, lights & animated it,but how do I take the model's print?

AutoCAD does not print the renders the way you think it would. To "print" your render, you have to render to a file.

Play with the settings and see what you can do. God luck.

I am not sure about Max though.

F7 is right. For both AutoCAD and MAX, the best solution is to render to a file, say a TIFF and then print using Photoshop or similar. Actually, there are ways of printing rendered images from AutoCAD but they're too complicated to bother with.
