I'm trying to drag (xref) a construct (floor framing plan) into a foundation plan but it's not lining up correctly. I have gone in and set the ucs at 0,0 for all drawings but it still ends up inserting incorrectly. Is there something else I'm missing? I know I've done this correctly and easily in other projects.

is it in the x and y directions that it is missing the insert? or is it in the Z direction
and, are the objects in your floor framing plan at the same coordinates as the file you are trying to bring them into?

It is the X and Y. I'm not sure if they are at the same coordinates. How can I check to see or change the coordinates if they are different? Thanks!

use the list command in one corner that should match on both plans, if one coordinate is different then the other they are not in the same place, and would not stack when xref'd
the other thing you can do is select the exterior walls and do a copy, then go into the other file and do a "past to original coordinates" under the edit pull down. this should past them to the same place they are in the first file, and if they do not stack, you have to move them to the same place in each file.
