large file acad map 3d 2008

hi, i'm fresh on using acad map 3d 2008. i have a problem when i save an existing file. for example, i open file, save it and it becomes cca. five(5X) times larger....before 600k, then aproximately 3.000k...is there some variable to change or something else...can you please help me?

Might check your incremental save percentage setting.

Had same problems if you look here on forum for large files sizes. Map & civil3D bury stuff in the dwg if simple cad dwg required "Wblock" or "aecexporttoautocad" file reduction is massive 3000k = 300k maybe less
