Siberian Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Supposedly BIM is making it's way into CAD at a growing pace. Still I'm getting simple 2D drawings from most architects while I know they work in 3D themselves. I know many at the receiving end of architect drawings use different commands in order to make a 2D drawing more or less 3D, bring up walls, doors, and such. I'm just looking for the commands that are best suited for this. Any help is appreciated Quote
smorales02 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Your best option is to look into Autodesk Architecture ( I believe it used to be known as Architectual Desktop).. It allows you to draw your floor plan as you would in 2d (top view) but using intelligent objets that are actually being drawn in 3D.....worth getting if you deal alot with 3D in architecutre Quote
