Has anyone come across this before.
We have a client with autosketch and they would like to be able to shade in areas that they have sold on their floorplan that we supply them in autocad format. is there any tips or tricks?
Thanks

Well, looking on the AutoDesk web site it says that a AutoSkectk user can open r2000 .dwg files. So it should not be a big deal for them. I have not used AutoSkecth but I have played with QuickCAD and it was not that bad and since AutoSketch is about twice as much it should be a nice 2d beginer cad package. I am sure Autodesk has a support forum like this one for AutoSketch and looking at their site I see....

I used to teach Autosketch2.1 and you could export an Acad Lt97 file *.dxf into asketch and then solid hatch patern the areas to fill within Asketch.

You could probably also try to save as, from acad, as a rel12 file or older.
