Afternoon,
I was reading in a previous post about symbol libraries and I believe it was CADtutor (forgive me if I'm wrong) that said possibly the best way of getting yourself a symbol library is creating one yourself. I am currently in the process of doing so and I wanted all the symbols accessable through the Design centre. In the first symbol I have created though I attached text attributes to it which works fine in the original symbol drawing (titled Wiring Symbols.dwg) but when you import that symbol through design centre there are no attributes connected to it. Where have I gone wrong?
Sorry if this dosen't sound very clear I've just got a massive headache...and am feeling a bit feeble. :bloodshot:
Any ideas would be fab guys.
Thanks!

Try to set ATTMODE to 2 -this should force all attribute to appear. If it doesn't work, probable the problem occurred when you defined the attribute.

Well, just my guess...

hello there Fuccaro!
Yes tried that I think unfortunatly the command line reads 'That block has no editable attributes.'
I think I've gone wrong whilst trying to create the symbol I made the symbol then made the attributes then selected them and created a block. It all seems to work there in the symbol drawing, but not when imported.
I will have to have a look and see where it goes wrong and try creating it again.

Feel a bit silly now Fuccaro, I was looking at the same symbol, but in a different library.
Thankyou for your help, my symbol works now.
