paper too small message

Almost anytime anyone in our office plots to our HP designjet 1050c plus it gives us a "paper too small" message on the plotter screen. It plots out just fine, I just wanna get rid of the message. We've got it set up on our LAN and each computer looks to it as a system printer then autocad uses it. This is Land Desktop 3 we got going. Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? I searched with no luck.

Is this plotter set as the defalut system plotter for each of the PCs that uses it? If not, there may be some other small format printer set as default. That plotter may be selected initially when starting the plot dialogue and hence the message.

no, we each have a different small format printer set up as the default printer becuase, well, we print more to those than to the plotter. I'll try setting the 1050 as default and see if that problem goes away. if thats the answer then it looks bleak for us as we need our defaults set to the other printers. thanks for the tip
