Using Autodesk 2006

I copied a PDF to the clipboard and pasted it in to a DWG. It looks fine (the PDF) I can stretch the image frame but when I try to print it the preview looks great but no PDF image comes out of the printer.

Can I do what I am trying to do?

Please advise.

I did tried dwf files and insert to dwg it works but the text becomes wierd ,try dwf instead than pdf. But you have to modify the all the text. My version is AutoCad 2009LT. I'm not sure if the 2006 version can do it?

convert it to a dxf, insert into drawing then scale accordingly if you need to work with it/change it up a bit, etc

In Autocad 2006, I believe the best way to do that would be to convert the pdf into a tiff file, and then bring the tiff into your drawing using the image manager.

Thanks to all......

When I change the extension to dxf and try to open the CAD the command line says invalid or incomplete dxf input. I guess I need Acrobat to change the PDF to anohter extension?

Please advise.
