Ive just installed AutoCAD 2000 on my computer after doing a fresh install and I cant for the life of me remember how to turn on the status button bar that is normally at the bottom of the screen. Its the one that appears just above the command dialogue box and has grey buttons with GRID ORTHO SNAP OSNAP etc.
This is the area in which the buttons normally sit. They arnt like a tool bar which you can dock.

Hello Franco!
Normally that bar is under the command line. Maximize the AutoCAD window on the screen and see if it appears.
In order to make your post easy to read: can you please resize your image? -read HERE (http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=183)
Thank you!

I also notice how few people use the auto hide option for windows task bar.
For a station that focuses on a single chore, I personnely think it is a waste of viewing area to see the taskbar at all times. Maybe if you switch back and forth between programs a lot yes, show it. Other wise let it hide itself and give the screen the max area. My $0.20 -David
