How to get post replies to show quotes with white background

Without wanting to appear dim :oops: how do you get the white background to appear in a reply post when you are quoting what a previous person wrote?

If you want to quote a previous posting, click the QUOTE button on that post rather than the REPLY button. You can then edit the quoted text to display just the bit you want.
