Is there a way to lock a layout viewport?

I am using AutoCAD 2004 and Land Desktop 2004. I was specifically wondering if there was a way to keep a viewport locked in paperspace even if I were to leave my viewport in floating model space and accidentally zoomed the viewport and left it like that.

In your layout tab type MV > then L (for lock) > then select On or Off > then select the viewport you want to lock or unlock.

or if you select your viewport, you should be able to lock it in the properties box
