Hi,

I am currently working in Electrical Generation and Distribution company. And we plan to implement AutoCAD Electrical in our HT(High Tension) and LT(Low Tension) electrical network system.

Actually till now we were using AutoCAD Land and Map 3D for drawing layers and attaching object data to the Electircal Cables, Circuit Breakers, Bus Bar, Pillars, Transmission Towers, etc.........

We have made custom tools for tracing downstream from a particular CB... ie which Pillar is feeded by what CB above it etc..

But as we Low Tension circuit networks get more and more complex, solving them without relation ie... no relational object model described between parents and sibling eg... Miner and Miner product ArcFM we are unable to have the required results

So can nyone explain me, would electrical would solve our problem and would be there no connectivity problems with the parents and child or siblings

Also, would electrical tracing and load evaluation possible with this tool.....
