exporting and importing scale problems [Archive]

Hi there,
I have a floor plan which I drew in acad 2002. I received the topo map from the engineers and now I am trying to place the floor plan onto the topo map. However the scale is all off. The house imports into the topo map HUGE. So that it appears to be about three times bigger than the whole site.

How do I get the house scaled in correctly?

If the house is in feet and inches, scale the topo by 12. Most civil guys draw in feet while most draw in inches.

er - scale the topo by 12? How would I do that exactly? :huh:

Use the SCALE command, select all the objects in the drawing and enter a value of 12.
