muck Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 AutoCAD 2009. How do I get my command line under the editing window. At this time my command line is on the side of the editing window. I think I uncheck the docked setting or something? Anyway my command line is force on the side edge of my editing window and I want it back under my editing window. I do not use dynamic command lines. Thank you, Quote
lpseifert Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Can't you just drag it? You may need to hold Ctrl down while dragging. If your Docked Windows are locked in place, holding the Ctrl key while dragging is one way to override the 'lock'. Quote
muck Posted October 7, 2008 Author Posted October 7, 2008 Do I have to uncheck "dock" setting to drag it down then ckeck dock to keep it there? Quote
ReMark Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Follow the advice given by lpseifert by clicking the title bar and dragging the command window. You do not need to press and hold the key while doing this. When the command window resizes itself equal to the same width as the AutoCAD window (where you draw) just release your mouse button to dock it. The command window can be resized, floated and even hidden if you want. See AutoCAD's Help file under the heading Command Window for further information. Quote
