I'm not sure the Limited Edition does support EPS, you may need a full Photoshop. Secondly, version 5 of Photoshop does not support PostScript Level 2 files. Make sure you are using only Level 1.

Have used level 1, if limited edition doesn't support .eps files how can i export a dawing to use in word?

If you only need a low res image for use in Word, you could simply try the Print Screen method. Hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard and then paste into Photoshop.

If you're using Photoshop, you can use the Crop tool to remove the menus etc.

if you are on version 2005, you can plot to JPG or PNG.

if you are on an older version of cad, you can set up a raster printer.

with both options you will be able to plot the image just as if it was sent to a printer.
