been a long time since i've posted mainly due to change of jobs and also because i now have an apprentice to teach

anyway to my question...

can anyone give me some typical ducting notes, such as all dimensions are in mm, all duct dimensons are internal etc...

this new company barely does ducting jobs and i could not find drawings with notes

thanks in advance :)

chris: Styk is our duct expert. As soon as he comes along and reads this I'm sure he'll have plenty to say.

Chris,

I think "typical" duct notes may differ from company to company and region to region. If all the dimensions are in mm then just note that.

Okay I'm here.... sorry for the delay.

As far as "general ducting notes" well.... we only put notes on our plans that are needed. However we do have a "General Notes" that goes on our coversheet. Here is a DWF of our Coversheet that we send out with each As-Built Record Set, so you can kinda get an idea of notes that we use. Granted, it's from the USA so the measurements are a bit different, but you get the idea. Hope this helps. :)

*EDIT* Looks like the page got cut off a bit, but still you get the idea.
