widget Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I have an autocad drawing with imports data from and Excel file using a Data Link. It seems to be working fine. But I want to be able to copy both the cad and the Excel file to another location - to use them for another project. When I do this, the new cad file is still data linked to the original Excel file. Is there a way to re-associate the new cad file with the new excel file without fully reinserting the Excel file? Thanks. Quote
feargt Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 use the datalink command, rightclick on the link that you want to change and select edit, then choose the new file, click ok. Quote
