Hello, please help if you are able.

At my job i am required to dimension DXF files of manufactured parts to get the dimensions off of the files, print them and send them over to a fab shop. I use Autocad LT 2006

Is their a way too quick dimension DXF files "not have to manually drag each DIM?" too speed this process up?

Many thanks,

i can only think of QDIM (or quick dimension from the dimension toolbar)...i trust this is available in LT...but in the end you may be better off doing it manually depending what the content is as qdim works nicely on architectural but i don't know about mech stuff...

start the command, select all your objects then move your cursor up/down or left/right to get an entire string of dimensions...try it out and see what happens!..
