pbutler@stormontvail.org Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Is there a lisp routine that allows you to add a stringe of dimensions together? I need a total for lineal footage and would rather not use my calculator. Had anyone come up with this? Thanks, Paula Quote
ReMark Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Yes there is. The routine is called TXTCALC. A brief description says "This command lets you perform addition and subtraction with AutoCAD text and dimension entities. The command sequence is similar to that of AutoCAD's Area command." The lisp routine was written by Ramesh Gopal and it was submitted to CADalyst Magazine CAD Tips on 01-Mar-2003. It is tip number 1860. Membership (required) in CAD Tips is free. Start by visiting www.cadalyst.com. You can search their vast collection of Lisp and VBA routines. I used the term "adding dimensions". Actually, I think there may have been a second routine available. Quote
