Hi, I exploded a block because I needed to copy a section of it to use it somewhere else on my drawing. Now I want to make it a block again, but if I select the components and define it with the original name, the rest of the blocks in the drawing get changed and some parts disappear.
What is the best way to get these exploded components back into the original block?
Thanks so much

Luis

Simply replace the exploded components with another instance of the block. Either insert the block again or copy another instance of it. Although you have exploded that particular block, the block definition remains part of the drawing so AutoCAD knows how to create a new one.
