Vikes_Fl Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Hello guys I have a question, we have a mulitple sections of lines, not plines, some are not connected together. But we need the total length of one of these sections. Is there a way we can select the lines and find out the total length of lines?? Thanks Quote
CarlB Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Similar request recently, see http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=29771 Won't the total length show in the "properties" box if only lines are selected? (not at CAD to check). Quote
Vikes_Fl Posted November 28, 2008 Author Posted November 28, 2008 When all the lines are selected, the length category comes up as "Varies" Quote
ReMark Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 There are Lisp routines that will return a running total. All one has to do is search for them in the appropriate places. Quote
Vikes_Fl Posted November 28, 2008 Author Posted November 28, 2008 Thanks ReMark, I did find one. It works great! Quote
ReMark Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 I often recommend the CAD Tips section of CADalyst Magazine for those looking for Lisp routines. Membership is free. Quote
