are you in paperspace with 4 viewports set up?
make sure your toggle button at the bottom of the screen reads "paper" not "model"

Some things to check before plotting:
When you select Plot from the File menu click on the Plot Device tab and ensure that under What to plot the Current tab radio button is checked.
Go to the Plot Settings tab and check under Plot area that the Layout radio button is checked.
For each viewport right-click on the edge of the viewport (viewport grips showing) and check that Display Viewports Objects is set to Yes.
Let's know how you get on.

Are the objects and layers all PRINTABLE ?
(the little printer icon next to each layer)

You need to add materials to the model and then render it to a file.
Look up the HELP files on RENDER, MATERIALS and adding lights in the first instance.
Don't mistake a shaded view for a rendered view - they are quite different.

Yes, you have to render to a file for each of them.
quick,no nonsense way, import them into word as a picture, float the image over text, then resize to suit the page. word is not the best program for layouts, but everyone has it, and everyone can view it without converting it to a pdf.

Hi,
thanks alot for your help i couldnt figure out your method to save rendered image but found a very useful command called "saveimg"with which i can save my rendered image to a tiff file to desktop then edit it with my kodak imageing software.

If you can setup and use a LAYOUT then set one up and then INSERT>RASTER IMAGE and drop the render in there.
