count of blocks

Is there a way to count how many of a certain type of block is in a dwg? Im doing duct work and need to know how many diffusers and registers I have in the building. Large building and I dont want to individually count them all. any suggestions would be great

Express Tools has a routine called BCount that should do the trick.

this ahs been solved, but thought will post for LT users, who do not have xpress tools. They can use 'qselect' to select all the instances of the particular block & than press 'f2' or may be list tp see the no of objects selcted.
